Planning

Stepping back from the urgency of a search, we use psychometrics and guided coaching to understand your personal and career goals in order to develop for you a strategic transition plan that will achieve them.

Branding

The first step in personal marketing is the creation of a crafted resume and a killer LinkedIn presence. You’ll learn to use targeted content, powerful language, and proven designs to create a compelling personal brand. 

Marketing

Building on your personal marketing materials, Coachpad develops your skills for broadcasting your brand through effective use of email and vmail messaging, exit story development, cover letter writing and the nuances of navigating the major Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) used by employers and search firms.

Networking

Coachpad delivers training for you in the best practices required to approach and expand your personal and professional networks during a search. We also guide you in tapping into the search firm community as well as creating the confidence and pitching skills required for you to cold call a wider network.

Interviewing

Interviewing – this is where the rubber hits the road in your search. We use mock interviews and testing to help you develop the skills to succeed in behavioural and high pressure simulation interviews. We also share the techniques to make your video interviews stand out against other candidates. Rounding off the training are the best practices to be ensure you are remembered and that you leave your interviewers with the confidence that gets you offers.

Closing

It doesn’t stop with getting an offer. Helping you to know what to negotiate and how hard to press can ensure you leave nothing on the table as you join a firm. Learning to guide your references closely ensures that they add to a hiring manager’s confidence in their decision to choose you. And once on board, whether guided by your new employer or left to your own devices, we can coach you through on-boarding, assimilation, 100-day plans and other success factors.
